Supermarkets are making changes to adopt ‘greener’ values by offering consumers’ something for re-using bags, giving every customer an incentive.

 

Billions of bags are thrown away in Britain every year and many of these end up as unsightly litter in parks, trees and streets, causing environmental abuse and harm to wildlife.

 

Supermarkets such as Tesco and The Co-Op have recently made efforts to introduce biodegradable bags so why don’t you try re-using bags or take bags and baskets along to shop with.  Give it a go and the difference will go a long way.
